TEEN SUMMER WORK EXPERIENCE
The Teen Summer Experience - an 8-week summer work program that pays teens to learn and stay active during the summer. The program will focus on music and video production, cultural exploration, culinary arts, personal wellness, and more. Teens will be paid weekly. Teens must be rising freshman to rising juniors (11th grade) in high school.

The Teen Summer Program is a paid, eight-week experience for high school students ready to take their first real steps into the professional world. Participants take on youth-focused leadership roles at the MLK Center, developing practical job skills, professional habits, and a sense of responsibility as mentors to younger community members. A dedicated Media Team gives creatively inclined teens hands-on experience in photography, video production, and digital storytelling. Together, these tracks represent an intentional investment in the next generation of leaders, storytellers, and community builders.
