The next Books and Breakfast will be on Saturday, November 2. We will discuss Lillian's Right to Vote by Jonah Winter, a picture book about an elderly black American woman on her way to vote who shares about how hard it was for her family to vote. Bring a neighbor and join the conversation. Limited copies are available at the Center for FREE. You can also find one at your local bookstore, library, or online.
The MLK Center is closed November 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Center will reopen as normal on Monday, December 2, at 9:00 a.m.
